We Believe in...
The Bible
In the inerrancy of scripture, that the Bible, all 66 Books (old and new testament) are the inspired, infallible Word of God (II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1:20-21)
God
Is the one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; equal in power and glory. He is an infinite, all-knowing Spirit that is perfect in all of His ways.
(Matthew 3:16-17. Matthew 28:19, Genesis 1: 1-3, I Corinthians 8:4, Deuteronomy 6:4)
Jesus Christ
That Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human having been conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a perfect sacrifice, for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is now at the right hand of the Father. He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
(Luke 1:25-26, John 1:1-5, I John 2: 1-2, Romans 8:34, I Corinthians 15: 3-4)
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ. He comes to convict and to draw sinners to Christ. He comes to regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for Godly living and service.
(John 15:26, John 16: 7-11, Romans 8:9, Ephesians 1:13)
Sin
That sin is the innate quality within man to do wrong and through his transgression sin entered into the world causing God and mankind to be estranged. There is no remission of sin apart from the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and man’s repentance.
(Luke 24: 46-47, John 3:16, Romans 3:0-26, 6:23,7:23-24, I John 3:40)
Salvation
That salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation cannot be obtained through human efforts or by works but by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. His death, burial, and His resurrection are the only provisions for those who believe, repent, and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
(John 1:12, Romans 10:9, Ephesians 1:7, 2:8-9, I Peter 1:18-19)
